As part of our ongoing commitment
to eliminate the illegal reproduction and distribution of counterfeit software,
we commenced proceedings in April in the Federal Circuit Court of Australian
against four individuals, Leigh Winter, Mohamad Mubaslat, Vuddei Sayon and Paul
McLane.  All four were operating stores as part of the Technology and
Computer Market Swap Meets in Melbourne selling counterfeit Microsoft software.

Mr Winter and Mr Mubaslat both
settled their cases and were ordered to pay Microsoft damages totalling a sum
of $80,000 for the infringement of Microsoft’s copyright and injunctions
restraining them from infringing Microsoft’s copyright in the future.
