Australia has officially been announced as the host nation for the Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals in 2012! Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the prestigious event, Australia will host the world’s brightest students as they “imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems.”
Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition, with over 300K students taking part each year to help solve some of the world’s toughest problems by using technology.
The announcement was aptly made at the Power House Museum in Sydney; home of innovation and ingenuity. Pip Marlow, Managing Director of Microsoft Australia shared her Imagine Cup inspiration with the audience:
"Imagine Cup is all about harnessing the power of ‘what if’. Thanks to technology, we now have the power to bring that ‘what if’ to life in ways previously unimagined." Pip Marlow - Managing Director, Microsoft Australia.
So what’s your “Imagine If”?
Dream big…
