Since launching in 2011, Office 365 has gone from strength to strength to become a US$1.5 billion business, and the fastest growing commercial product in Microsoft’s history.
Locally, similar trends in the adoption of Office 365 indicate that Australians are embracing this new and always up-to-date cloud service model, which enables them to communicate, share and collaborate whether in the office or on the go.
In response to this evolving market dynamic, I am pleased to announce that in 2014 we will bring new options including license types to market that will enable our commercial customers to purchase Office 365 in the way that best suits their needs.
For the first time in Australia, Microsoft Partners will also have the ability to bundle Office 365 with their existing services, ensuring customers see the service as part of their total bill from the partner.
These expanded offerings will become available in the first half of calendar year 2014. Pricing will be released closer to general availability.
