So the link doesn't seem to work (for me at least) to download the new version. Will we have to re-create the DynamicsPerf database/jobs etc with this new version or is it just new scripts for analyzing?
If you have an older version of the DynamicsPerf databsase, the scripts will drop and recreate all tables and SQL jobs. So if you have any history that you would like to keep, please backup the database.
There seems to be a problem with the script for creating the objects in the DynamicsPerf database, 2-Create_AX_Objects.sql.
Error message: Msg 207, Level 16, State 1, Procedure AX_INDEX_DETAIL_CURR_VW, Line 14
Invalid column name 'TABLE_ID'.
In fact the view AX_INDEX_DETAIL_CURR_VW cannot be created. The column APPLICATION_LAYER is based on a column TABLE_ID in the base tables. But no such column exists in the tables STATS_COLLECTION_SUMMARY and AX_INDEX_DETAIL.
The fix has been uploaded and the upload date is 1/12/2012 on the download site. Please download the update.
Thank you very much for the report !!
