  • Hi

Is there an example on how to start with an existing databse on SQL Server 2008 Express R2.  It seems that I keep getting this error "he selected database does not contain any tables or views. Once items are added to the database, you will need to refresh this data source."  Even though I can clearly view the table in the SQL server management tool.  Most example on the web seems to start with .... let create a table ....

    Many thanks

  • Hi Mike,

I have a similar post already available in my blog where I described about "Attaching an External DataSource in LightSwitch Application" using SQLExpress. You may find it useful. Have a look here: www.kunal-chowdhury.com/.../attaching-external-datasource-in.html

    Regards,

    Kunal
