We had a number of reports about Intellisense crashes soon after the RC was released. After much investigation, the vast majority of reports have boiled down to two issues. We released a patch for the more common of the two a week or so ago. We've just released a patch for the second and customers who have tried the two patches are reporting that all of their Intellisense crashes are gone.
Try them out and let us know if you are still seeing any IDE instability.

Why is it that you are releasing patches for "rare" cases involving UI automation, and yet still no patch for the common problem where the web forms designer does not work for web application projects?
As it stands, I am still unable to do any testing and/or development with VS2010 due to this problem which will seriously disadvantage me when the product RTMs as I will not have had the necessary exposure to be able to be fully up and running with it. And of course, what other bugs may show up when the designer can actually be tested that will not have been fixed and will then have to wait for a service pack.
