Is Microsoft looking at the situation regarding CALs at all, in regard to TFS?

Yes, as I understand it, they will also need a Project Server CAL.

You say people who use Project Server projects managed by this connector (automatically synchronizing data between TFS and Project Server) will need a TFS CAL. Will they also need a Project Server CAL since data is being updated via Project Web Access (assuming they are team members who do not need to update anything in PWA since it will be updated using TFS)?

When do you plan to fix the installer? As it is now it will not install on a machine that has multiple IIS web sites and also has hard coded machine names and TFS service accounts in it.
