It seemed like a good idea, so here you go...
VSTS Web Access is a Web UI to a portion of the Team Foundation Server functionality.
You can just use the standard Team Explorer that comes with TFS for your scenario. It's a full featured client that uses http to access the server.

1. Have a development team spread across countries.

2. Need to have the visual studio C# project hosted on a server.

3. The development team members need to access this projects from their remote machines and do the regular tasks of a developer like check-in, checkout, build, get latest version and have the version control on it. Pretty much instead of team working in a LAN environment am talking about WAN/Web environment? Hope it is clear.

4. Can I do this with Team System Web access? If not how can this be achieved?

Unfortunately, it's not possible to modify the main UI layout in the way that you've described. The work item UI layout is rendered according to the work item definition.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the posting. Can the Team System Web Access be modified ie can we re-arrange the layout of the main page, can we optimize display settings - with the display set at 1024x768 we have issues with control layout sizes, it seems that web access is optimized for higher resolutions.

Would appreciate your help and guidance.

Thanks
