As many of you already know, Product Ads empowers advertisers to increase their qualified clicks at scale with high CTRs and low CPCs. Product Ads help drive strong performance by leveraging the product feed attributes like product image, price, and brand name and automatically including those details within the ad. Today, advertisers can participate in Product Ads offering by managing their product feeds through the Bing Merchant Center. One of the core challenges for an advertiser is to keeping product pricing and availability information up to date in their online campaigns. How does one accomplish this easily?
To address this, we are excited to announce the availability of the Content API pilot program. The Content API allows advertisers to programmatically manage their product offer feeds and you no longer need to upload data feeds using FTP. Adopting the Content API empowers advertisers to update product offers incrementally multiple times throughout the day; allowing you to send faster pricing and availability updates and adapt to changing market conditions.
Starting today we are happy to extend the pilot program to advertisers before we expand our offering and make it generally available to everyone.
