Meet Job Stock – The Startup Making Freelancing Simple.
I recently had the privilege of catching with founder of Job Stock, Paul Dunstone. I first met this awesome start-up a year ago at the Microsoft Innovation Centre. A year on in, they are launched with a fantastic platform for Freelance connections.
So how did Job Stock Start?
We had previously used other freelance marketplaces and found them incredibly confusing to use, so wanted to provide a more user focused solution. So began the coding on busses, after hours, and whenever we had a spare moment to create the best possible freelance marketplace. We're passionate about the technology and startup industries and really wanted to create something that would connect everyday businesses with that amazingly talented world. We wanted to create a place where talented professionals from across the globe could connect on one platform, and both sell their services and tender for freelance job opportunities.
We were also passionate about giving back the knowledge we had learnt in our careers prior to Job Stock, so felt it was important to collaborate with the freelance community via our blog at http://www.jobstock.com/blog/ with engaging and relevant content both freelancers and small business could share and benefit from.

Meet the Team Behind Wander
We recently caught up with Loki Davies from Wander, a BizSpark Start-up who is working on some exciting game development in the cloud!
How did Wander Start? Wander started as a idea while playing table tennis. The creative director, Loki, spent time as a nomad in central Asia and Siberia as well as wandering around the Himalayas. He wanted to create a game with this feeling of discovery and beauty and also explore how our form influences how we see the world and interact with others. So a non-combat, non-competitive, collaborative game was born. What is Wander? Wander is a collaborative, non-combat, non-competitive game. Wander uses exploration, beauty, cooperation and transformation to give you a unique player experience. You begin life as a tree, brought to life by a mysterious and powerful flower and go through various transformations as you progress. The game encourages you to explore the beautiful world around you and discover others like you. You work together and become new entities each with their own unique form and power. If you have ever wondered what it’d be like to soar the skies and feel the wind blow under your wings as a griffon, be one with nature as a noble ent or swim the depths of the ocean as a agile amphibian, you can find out in Wander.
