In this interview, Greg Galipeau, Project Manager and senior consultant of RDA, discusses with Zhiming Xue about customizing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) based solutions.

With demos Greg walks through each of the three customization options -- using the SharePoint Designer tool, using the site templaadmin function inside a SharePoint site, and creating custom site definitions with Visual Studio and other tools.

He further talks about what developers can do with web parts, asp.net web applications and workflow activities while customizing SharePoint solutions.

Through his consulting experience he shares his thoughts on how to address potential SharePoint customization issues that customers often run into.
