In an IT career that currently spans 41 years, boB Taylor has pretty much done it all. Fortran 66 on Hollerith Cards, assembly language programming on drum based computers, line of business application developer, manager, and Vice President of Software development, Director of Database Technologies for Avanade West Region. And then he joined Microsoft in the Microsoft Partner Advantage practice, guiding ISVs on the effective use of SQL Server for their applications. After obtaining his Microsoft Certified Architect credential boB eventually moved to PFE before starting his current role with the ISV Enablement Team. In addition to having successfully passed over 28 certification exams on the first attempt, boB has been involved in the development of both SQL Server 2000 certification exams, two of the SQL Server 2005 developer exams and all of the MCSD.NET exams. The only thing boB has done longer than software development is magic and mentalism. boB is also an avid long distance runner.
