I am currently trying to use RIA Services in the same setup and would appreciate any information on this subject.

Thank you

One of the theories is that the problem is in the precompiledapp.config. Is there anything different that you are doing such as deleting the precompiledapp.config? Are you using a WCF RIA Services Class Library? Is WCF RIA Services installed on the server or do you have the dlls in the bin folder?

The reason for that is currenlty being investigated.
