OK, this is just what I needed. I don't have an actual widescreen TV, but I did get a widescreen monitor that I'm really liking a lot. Now my laptop and my desktop both do 1280 by 768 resolution. Steve found some resources for making games work at the widescreen resolutions.

In messing around with all this HDTV stuff, I found is that most Xbox games snap into widescreen automatically. More and more, I'm doing my gaming on the Xbox. I'm spending more time time playing and less time tweaking.

It looks like Dave Winer bought a TR3. I'm still loving mine. What's it like to own one of these? I had to double check to make sure it was in my backpack this morning. :)

This week I bought a widescreen monitor for my PC that also supports HDTV. I've got this hooked to my Xbox and so I was looking for the 1080i games to test things out. I found a great list here at HDTVArcade that shows the different resolutions supported by each game.

OK, so yesterday my wife picked up a copy of Battlefront for me at Target. My kids love this game and I've spent a few hours playing online. What I find most amazing about this game is that it really makes you feel like you're in one of the movies.

First Hand Account of Connexion by Boeing
Glenn Fleishman goes into detail about a recent demo flight he was invited to for the Connexion by Boeing inflight Wi-Fi service. Glenn tests video conferencing (see picture), Voice over IP, Email, and blogging while flying in a loop around the Seattle area.
