Gary and Steve from msProjectExperts found an interesting issue that could bite you if you have Project Server users who are also domain admins – which I do hope doesn’t happen in the real world, but just on our test and demo machines. See their blog post at http://www.projectserverhelp.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=131http://www.projectserverhelp.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=131. Basically Windows tries to save you from yourself, and in the process strips away the impersonation permissions you have given to get your demo/test environment working.
I would say don’t do this at home, but this is one where home is ok – just please don’t do this at work!
Brian, just joined your blog, I am the head of the PMO office at VCPI and we use the 2003 version of EPM. We are looking to upgrade to 2010 this year but need to find a way to integrate our billing system with the project/resource tracking so that we can bill client work at the project level. Does 2010 have the ability to do that and in not sure is there a source that you can direct me to.
