2013 is shaping up to be another big year for releases especially around the developer tool sets. Visual Studio (VS) and Team Foundation Server (TFS) have been substantially updated and both pack a lot of functionality into their latest incarnations. Check out what’s new with Visual Studio 2013 for all the details. Download Visual Studio 2013 (also available on MSDN subscriber downloads) to get started. Note: If you’re upgrading from VS 2012 or are installing VS on a brand new machine, be sure to read the system requirements and platform compatibility.
As in the past, no VS release would be complete without a launch party so definitely save the date for Visual Studio 2013 launch on Nov 13th.
If you have any comments/questions, please direct all feedback to Connect (bugs), UserVoice (suggestions) and the Forums (Q&A).
Finally, since I’m mentioning new releases, I couldn’t leave out Windows 8.1 as it's now available!
