While working on deliverables for my current project, I was tasked with doing test plans. Now, as every good test plan has screenshots of the user interface to help the next developer or tester understand what they should expect to see in the UI. So, I fired up Word 2010 and started to write the steps to perform in my test plan. Then I noticed in the ribbon a new feature called Screenshot located in the Insert Ribbon. Being the curious person that I am, I had to try that out. I was just amazed!
In the past I have used different tools to do screen captures such as Jing and SnagIt. Both are great tools but in my case, Jing takes a lot of time to do Virtual Machine capturing. One benefit of using Jing or SnagIt is the ability to annotate the image that was captured. But if all you want is to do screenshots and even clipping of the image for a Word document. Then the built in capability might be just what you need.
Here are the steps you can use to do screen captures using Word 2010.
That is all you need to do to quickly incorporate images in your Word document!
Wow that look great, I almost do that for my word doc. Thanks guys to make sure this. <a href="myhealthbreakthrough.com/.../a>
