In my first post on this blog I mentioned the idea that people from Microsoft tend to change jobs relatively frequently so having spent some 3 years in the UK subsidiary and the last 18 months of those working on PerformancePoint it's time to seek new challenges and experiences. From a professional perspective I won't be traveling much farther a field as I've accepted a role in Redmond working in the PerformancePoint partner team. I'll be helping to develop our channel of national systems integrators to deliver great solution wins on the Microsoft platform and help make our vision of ubiquitous business intelligence a reality.

The blog will remain and should hopefully not change too much in terms of content or focus and I'll be TRYING REALLY HARD to post regularly but as most blogger's will tell you this is not always that easy as for many people myself included it's done in my spare time.

From a personal perspective it means "upping sticks" and moving across the pond with my family leaving behind some amazing friends and colleagues AND by beloved Arsenal STILL top of the table.

I suppose this also means I'm now an adopted Seahawks fan!
