SQL Server Management Studio Standard Reports – Login Statistics

I'm continuing my series on the Standard Reports in SQL Server Management Studio, and today we’re in the Security reports. You can find these reports by starting SQL Server Management Studio and right-clicking the Logins node underneath the Security node. From the menu that appears, click the Standard Reports, and then select the title at the top of this post.

This report shows some information about logins, but it does not show historical information. Only the currently logged-in users are shown.

The first section of this report shows the active logins :

Column	Description
Login Name	Login name of the user. Server –wide,
# Open Sessions	The number of sessions this user has open.
# Open Connections	The number of connections to the server this user has open
# Active Requests	The amount of activity the user is performing
# Open Transactions	The number of transactions the user has open
# Active Cursors	The number of cursors the user has open
CPU Time (ms.)	The amount of CPU time this user has taken across all sessions for this user
Memory Usage (KB)	The amount of memory this user is taken across all sessions for this user
# Reads	The number of read operations performed by this user
# Writes	The number of write operations performed by this user
Last Request Start Time	The time that the last request from this user was posted
Last Request End Time	The time that the last request from this user completed
