This morning started bright and early for the Manageability Team (MPU) that I'm a part of. We hosted a breakfast for a select group of Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) for SQL Server to go over some of the information we presented yesterday in the keynote, and some of our future plans. Not sure who was more tired - but we had a great session.
From there on out it was meetings, meetings, and meetings. I met with several customers on specific questions they had for the Manageability and other tools, and then had three sets of interviews for TechNet radio, and from my good friend Greg Low at SQL Down Under (he's up from Australia for PASS). I'll post links to those as soon as I have them.
The buzz is around PowerShell - many DBAs haven't had a chance to play with it yet, and some of them aren't sure if they should. I was also a doubter when I first hear of it, but I've learned to use it and found that apart from the quick learning curve, it has powerful commands that I can use for Windows, Exchange, IIS, and now SQL Server. I'll be presenting a full presentation on that tomorrow, and I'll post the sample scripts here to show you what you can do with it.
