At the top of the Object Explorer Details (OED) pane in SQL Server Management Studio 2008 there is a box to type in a search term for database objects. You can use the exact name, or use standard T-SQL wildcards to find an object such as a table or a view in your databases.
But you should only search what you need - if you're on the "Databases" node in Object Explorer (OE), you'll search ALL databases on that server. If you know the database you need to look in, just click on a database or one of its objects in OE or OED and you'll search only that database. Faster, and less intrusive on your server.
