&lt;p&gt;A while back Hanu Kommalapati and I published an article in InfoQ on The Software as a Service Development Life Cycle (See &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.infoq.com/articles/SaaS-Lifecycle"&gt;www.infoq.com/.../SaaS-Lifecycle&lt;/a&gt;). It took the standard SDLC model and discussed in detail how to modify it for a company’s first Cloud project.&lt;/p&gt;
