Now that we have released the SSRS integration in MOSS 2007 / WSS in SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2, people often ask whether they can build reports against data in SharePoint lists. Although this functionality is not built into SSRS, if you are willing to go pick up a 3rd party component, I have heard of several customers successfully using the Enesys RS data extension for SharePoint lists.
