OK, i'm finally set to drive down to TechEd 2004 in San Diego.

i have a short presentation tomorrow (Sunday) morning at the INETA User Group Leader Summit at the Westin Horton Plaza. Basically, i'm going to provide a short rundown on the MSDN Live series of seminars that my teammates and i present across the country and how we can work together with the various user groups.

Monday, i will be presenting a 45 minute Webcast live from TechEd on the nuts and bolts of Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System.

Tuesday evening, i'll be at the special TechEd meeting of the San Diego .NET User Group. This will be back at the Westin Horton Plaza and feature special guest speakers from the C# and Visual Basic program management team like Joe Nalewabu, Anson Horton, Jay Schmelzer and Paul Vick. There is a special boat cruise of San Diego Harbor running at the same time but i'm going to have to pass on this as i helped to set up this special meeting and don't want to bail on them.

Wednesday afternoon, my pal (and co-author) Brian Randell and i will be presenting at one of the breakout sessions on MSDE (Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine) applications.

Wednesday evening, i'll be at the Influentials reception that i finally got invited to (long and bitter story that i don't want to go into). in the interest of playing nice, i have decided not to counter-program a nice dinner against it but that doesn't mean that i won't encourage my friends to make an early exit if the party turns out to be a dud.

Friday morning, Brian and i will be presenting in one of the cabana sessions on MSDE deployment.

i'm also booked at various times for the SQL Server cabana and product booth through the week.

if you see me around, please stop by and say hello!
