just a quick update...

i will be presenting the current cycle of MSDN Events seminars content (Application Blocks, RAD features in Visual Studio 2005, XML/XQuery/CLR integration in SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services) way up in Anchorage, Alaska on June 30th.

as a special treat, Don Kiely - noted author, trainer, presenter, etc., will be making the 350+ mile trek down from Fairbanks to join me in the presentation.

note - there has been a venue change. we've been bumped to the Regal Totem 8 theaters at 3131 Muldoon Road by the premiere of Spiderman 2, no less!

while i'm up in Alaska, i've arranged for my counterpart from the district of New York/New Jersey, the esteemed Robert Jackson, to present the same MSDN Events in Cerritos and San Diego. Rob will be using the opportunity to bring his whole family along to do the Disney, Legoland adventure thing...

of course, the real action will be several time zones away in Amsterdam at TechEd Europe where my friends (and co-authors) will be. i wish i could be blase - TechEd Europe? Amsterdam? done both of those several times already... but my focus next week will be Alaska and the next DVD-ROM (which i will write about another time).
