And it’s time for some Code Camps. “For and by the community.” Every year we see more and more User Groups organizing these great events where, for a full day, you can be exposed to some pretty cool code and some amazing demos. If you’re in the greater Toronto area, Ottawa or Montreal, make sure to register soon. Here’re the details.
The Toronto Code Camp is back for its 4th year! Our last event was a huge success with over 350 attendees and 25 sessions. Again this year we have a great line-up of sessions and speakers, 15 of which are MVP’s. Over 450 people have already indicated that they will be attending this year! Space is limited and filling up fast so I encourage you to visit the Toronto Code Camp website and register to attend soon.
The Ottawa Code Camp is back for its 2nd year! Last year we expected 60 people, planned for 100 and 175 .NET developers showed up. This year with better communications, we are expecting over 250 attendees to attend 12 sessions.
Space is limited and filling up fast so visit the Ottawa Code Camp website and register to attend.
The Montreal .NET Community is once again organizing a Code Camp that will take place on Saturday, May 30th 2009. This year, the theme is "Best Practices" with a focus on technologies currently shipping (Visual Studio 2008 and the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1) and short 40 minutes sessions (French and English) explaining a problem or a use case and showing how to solve the problem.
