Nelson Lopes one of Canada’s CRM specialists recently shared an email with me on how CRM 11 will make it easier for ISVs to protect their IP.  It’s introduced with a the new concept of a “Solution Package”.  Content that would normally have to be written to a separate MSI installation script, like .NET plug-ins, custom workflow activities, dashboards and web references can now all be contained in a Solution Package.
