I have received a few questions about updated exams, so I wanted to share the details we have right now on the Windows Essential Server Solutions exams for SBS and EBS 2008. I know some of you have been involved in the beta releases, but the full RTM ones are currently scheduled for:

• Windows Essential Business Server 2008 exam (70-654) available October 9th
• Windows Small Business Server 2008 exam (70-653) available November 7th

These will of course be integrated in as one of many available entry points to the SBSC designation. Among them will still be the OEM (74-134), Windows SharePoint Services (70-631), Exchange Server 2007 (70-236), and Microsoft Business Solutions competency.

There are no updates right now on the SBS 2003 R2 (70-282) exam retirement plan or any new entry points, however, we are working on some things that will help SBSCs upgrade their existing certifications in the future!
