Microsoft Tech•Days 2008 is a training conference for Canadian IT Professionals and Developers hitting 7 cities across the nation starting at the end of this month in Toronto.

The Tech•Days team is offering a fantastic early bird discount if you register before October 15, 2008 – costing $129.99 for the one-day version and $249.99 for the two-day event. The best way to summarize this was written by the team in their blog post titled Letter to your boss – why you can’t possibly miss TechDays in Canada:

This isn’t the typical tour that Microsoft has put on in the past. Tech•Days has been designed and organized from the ground up by the Technical folks – not the marketing folks at Microsoft. I don’t want to pressure you into making a snap decision – but I hear that the best discount available to attend (early bird pricing = 50% off!) is ending on October 15th… I need to go to to register before it’s too late!

If you haven’t already heard about the conference, here is a quick summary for you…

There are 30 200+ level sessions in the one-day version and 40 sessions in the two-day, featuring Microsoft employees, industry experts, and other partners. You can choose from tracks and sessions including: Windows Development, Web Development, SQL Server 2008, Infrastructure, and Virtualization! As well, at the Birds-of-a-Feather lunches, you can propose your own topics for discussion with your peers and the Microsoft people who know the technologies best.

*Update (October 16, 2008)* The early bird pricing has been extended until October 29, 2008. See the full details here.
