We launched the Windows Vista Small Business Assurance offer in Canada in November last year with a lot of fanfare given its focus on the small business space in Canada, integration of the SBSC solution finder, and prior success in the US market.

Not too long after, we were able to expand the offer into full French market support and extend it to June 30!

To recap, the offer provides small business customers free phone-based support with Windows Vista questions, compatibility, features, etc. It’s designed to help you recommend the product with confidence and be able to focus your time on high-value services.

This offer can play a central role in how you go to market with Windows Vista this year. Your customer has not only your full personal support with their entire solution, but can reach Microsoft representatives on-demand to get day-to-day minor OS support.

It’s a real way to work through myths, encourage familiarity, and create confidence.

There may still be an unresolved temptation to stay with a prior OS or wait out until the next, but the fact remains that the transition to a Windows 7 environment in the future will not be easier for someone coming up from Windows XP than to Windows Vista today.

And today, your customers have the right support from Microsoft to make it possible.
