Today while complaining that I hadn't realised last Monday was a public holiday when arranging our latest BizSpark Camp for Windows 7 development, Developer Evangelist extraordinaire, Andrew Coates kindly pointed out that Outlook has an option to import all the holidays – and perhaps I needed to import them. Of course, my first response was – “No way!”. So Andrew walked me through how to set it up:

In Outlook, go to File -> Options & then select Calendar.

Once the calendar options screen opens, click the Add Holidays button:

Tick the box for your country

Click OK.

Ta-da! You now have the Public Holidays in your calendar!!
