Session Title: Supporting East Asian Languages in Global Exchange Deployments
Abstract: This session will present the intricacies and requirements that have to be in place to support the traditional 'Double-Byte' languages of Chinese (Trad. & Simplified), Korean and Japanese in Exchange 2003 implementations. It will address server-side requirements in AD, Exchange and the underlying Windows OS. How client-side components such as Outlook versions and the configuration of the Windows desktop can effect a successful deployment using either MAPI clients, Internet clients or OWA and explain how correct configuration of both server and client components are paramount to achieving a full functionality solution when needing to support these languages. Common issues and resolutions will also be covered.
