Building Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) using Silverlight
Microsoft Silverlight is a new generation of technology that allows for creating an UI (User Interface) in a declarative format using XAML (Extensible Application Markup Language). Applications using Silverlight can be run from anywhere using a web-browser, but with many of the same features we expect from a desktop application. This presentation will highlight features of Microsoft Silverlight, including a discussion of XAML, animations, media, designing with, Expression Blend, and how to programmatically integrate Silverlight with an existing Web application. Demonstrations will show how to effectively integrate high-quality vector graphics and UI components to create an immersive experience. Come see what makes this technology so compelling for your next web application.
