It works! I downloaded the ISO from MSDN and followed the instructions to deploy SharePoint Server 2007 and Project Server 2007 on Windows Server 2008, and it works like a charm on R2 (notice the Windows 7 similar toolbar at the bottom with the big PowerShell icon)!

I did an SP2 slipstream install and the installation went fine but after creating the SSP, none of the site functioned (error 403)
We are getting a following error in PWA as mentioned in the article below:

We have installed Project Server 2007 in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition using medium farm in installation.
So we need a resolution in IIS7.0 in Windows Server 2008 R2.
Can you help us?

i have installed successfully however cannot access the project center or resource center.
I get the following errors and have tried everything to get this resolved.
The following errors are occuring:
There are no projects to view in Project Center. This is because you might not have permissions on any projects or no projects are published.
