Let's just say that Microsoft processes are optimized around the following:

• Minimizing a security problem with the software that would expose your computer to hackers or other people who can really do you eHarm,
• Making sure we comply with anti-trust laws everywhere in the world,
• Ensuring we don't come close to misusing customer data.

If you knew what I know about MS process, you should feel quite comfortable that MS isn't quite as evil as you may think.
