Today, we announced just about everything we know about the Expression Studio – new product names, new user interfaces, pricing, licensing options, upgrade eligibility, and probably most importantly, our lasting commitment to the designer market.  Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be working hard to show you how the Expression Studio can help you and/or your company build better web sites and applications with a dramatically improved User Experience.

You know that clunky, slow internal application you are forced to use at the workplace?  Ever try to share photos online?  Have trouble getting your designers and developers to work together?  With Expression Studio, there is a better way.

Over the next few days, I’ll go into more detail on business opportunities I see for companies that want to take advantage of the Expression Studio and the Microsoft UX.

In the meantime, you can get your hands on a bit of Expression today.  Our first product, Expression Web, is available today.  You can download the Trial or you can just go ahead and buy it ;-) from right now.  You can also try out iView MediaPro – the predecessor product to Expression Media – by visiting the iView web site.  I worked quite a bit on the iView acquisition in the spring & early summer of this year – and I have a lot to tell you about acquisitions at Microsoft, commuting by foot around the streets of London, why I lose 5 pounds every time I go to London, and the fantastic team that continues to work with us from lovely Battersea!
