But you remove the dependency on WindowBlinds this way.

For a developer, there are always choices. The people who implement WindowBinds have to handle some details, but once they do, everybody else can leverage it and use easier tools. I was exploring things from the perspective of somebody who wanted to understand how something was done as a developer, either to avoid a dependency, or to understand how the dependency might be working.

I think it's worthwhile to explore modifying any pixel offsets to address high DPI scenarios, as well as discuss accessibility, in a Part 3 of the series.

re: Creating Gel Buttons with Windows Forms : Part 2

Cool effect. One thing though, I see you are manipulating pixel offsets which says that this would likely have problems in high DPI scenarios, also I didn't see any mention of what happens when accessibility is turned on.

Cr

re: Creating Gel Buttons with Windows Forms : Part 2

Nice

Gel Button (Windows Forms)

Check Out Gel Buttons for Winforms

Chris Jackson has two posts about Gel Buttons that he's created for WinForms.
