The US Microsoft office is organizing a month-long Webcast series focusing on interoperability – why it matters to businesses, common strategies and methods, and guidance on specific implementation scenarios between the major platform players.
This series will feature over 40 Webcasts which include brand-new technical guidance from Microsoft. They will be covering all kinds of interop topics, including bridge building between .Net, Java, Unix and even Mainframe systems. The webcasts are listed at the Interop Month site, organized by content (IBM/Java/BEA/Unix interop) and role (Architect, IT Pro, Tech decision maker). Click the link for more information and to register.
The first three start tomorrow:
Most of the webcasts run between 9:30am-4pm PST (between 5:30pm and midnight local time), but if that is too late for you, most will be recorded and available for download afterwards.
Unfortunately Irish attendees are not eligible for the free gifts advertised (US Only due to international distribution issues). But the good news is that we also have a Portable Media Centre here in Ireland to give away to one lucky Irish attendee. Every Irish developer (country="Ireland" in registration form) who attends one of the webcasts will get entered into the draw. The more webcasts you attend, the better your chance of winning. The draw will take place at the end of the month.
For quick reference, a full list of the MSDN topics covered is included below. There are additional Executive Briefings and talks aimed at Architects and IT Professionals. Check out the site for the complete list and more details on the contents of each talk.
