Exciting news! On Friday October 7th, Steve Ballmer is visiting Ireland and we are hosting a special TechNet/MSDN day in Dublin to mark the occasion. You probably already know Steve well from such famous Internet clips as "Developers, developers, developers" - so you know how passionate he is about this audience. Now, this is your chance to meet him in person! Steve will be giving the keynote session for this event which features top speakers from TechEd 2005 and the Microsoft product teams.

Rafal Lukawiecki will be kicking off the day with a session Holistic Security, (making sure none of us are building steel doors in a house with paper walls) and will be following that with an Introduction to SQL Server 2005. In the afternoon, two members of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office product team, Mike Hernandez and Donald Drake, will be giving an overview of the new tools that will soon be available for building solutions based on Microsoft Office.
