A tester told me the other day that I have the “dev magic touch”

It’s a funny phenomenon. Mainly everything works perfectly on the developer’s machine, but promptly explodes on a test machine.

Even better is when you go to a tester’s office and for the life of them they can’t get it to repro while you’re in the room. They end up having to send you a video to prove they’re not making it up.

Instead of sending out technicians to fix people’s computers, we should just position developers such that their within radius of the computer and poof it will magically work.

To think, I could get paid to sit around just to exude awesome.
