Yet a rookie in the world of Software, I am a Software Design Engineer in the CRM Team. "Happy customers make for a happy world" is the mantra that motivates me to come to work everyday. During my two-and-a-half years stint at Microsoft so far, I have worked on CRM customizations, various aspects of integrating CRM with other apps, List Web Part for CRM 4.0, and am now figuring out the tango between CRM and SharePoint.

When not wading my way through the numerous things on my comp, I love to read fiction, listen music, travel around and try out new things. Splashing colors on canvas is my new found love.

Hi,

Nice in depth article indeed. However i still have some questions. My main question is how to go around with the external connector (license type) regarding the list web part possibilities.

I'd like to build one web page and depending on the customer or relation who want's to view the data it should only show his or her data (relation is the main filter and not user).

How can i accomplish this, since the relation is not a user and the logon via the external connector is not making any difference on who is loggin on through too CRM (correct?).

Hope you can help me with this.
