We’ve been playing around with YouTube as a destination for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Videos for a couple of months. The site now has five videos that you might find interesting at http://www.youtube.com/user/MSdynamCRM. Feel free to subscribe or friend the site to keep up on the release in the coming weeks.
The first video about Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 presents Humberto Guadarrama, the Program Manager for the Solutions Management feature area in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. He talks about how developers can now define, transport, deploy, maintain and consume full business applications, built entirely on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Solutions Framework, in just hours or days.
Whay didn't you share on youtube all videos that are on http://www.crm2011beta.com?
The YouTube site is a project in draft mode right now. We are checking the numbers to make sure spending the time to repost videos is worth the effort. Thanks for pinging us. :O)
I think this is a good idea. A video about (new) features speaks more to me instead of reading it from a feature list. It also inspires me to see other solutions built :)
Just one tiny remark: I think there is a lot of noise on the background. I think this is due to the fact that the video is encoded. Perhaps it's possible to keep the audio less compressed so that the quality is better?
I've never gotten into using YouTube itself, but only as a hosting platform that I can plug videos into my own site (like www.addresstwo.com/small-business-crm). I've heard it's the #2 search engine, behind Google (which is quite ironic). But, aren't most of the searchers on YouTube consumers, not businesses looking to buy CRM?
We used one of the videos at an event and it proved itself helpful in attracting attention. An auto-loop feature woould have been good, or a longer video to avoid restarts every 2.5 mins.
