  • This is great!  A reason to continue to love Microsoft and their drive to empower people with knowledge and computing power!  Thanks!  Great stuff!

  • I just posted a Demonstration Script to accompany this Kit.  It is located in the same SkyDrive folder as the other Demonstration Assets.  skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx

  • When importing the solution I get an error on the relationship goal_DuplicateBaseRecord and the details are: A SQL Server error occured. Try this action again.

When I try it again, I get the same error.

  • 6/23/2011 - Fixed an issue with the Product.xml import file.  The updated files can be accessed via the links in the post above.

@Jason - I just tested importing the Solution into an org that is hosted out of the EMEA (UK) and APAC (AUS) datacenters.  I was able to successfully import the data and Solution.  Remember one of the important setup steps mentioned in the beginning of the setup document is to add US Dollar as a Currency in your CRM org before starting the import of data or the solution.  I have made some modifications to the Demonstration Kit in the past couple days so perhaps re-download and try importing into a new / clean org.

  • Can this kit be imported to on-premise server?

  • @David - Yes.

  • Hi, I need some help.

I've just downloaded a trial in english aqnd I'm trying to follow step by step the tutorial but It's not working as some processes for example are not activated or for example i do not have any "disable users" or when I try to access the products I do not have any loaded...

    Any idea?

    Thanks

  • I've just sorted out some issues but when i'm trying to activate the "Create Contract" process and error pops up "error in process definition" any idea what I'm doing wrong?

  • Tried to import CRM2011CoreScenario_1_0_0_0_managed[1].zip - ZIP archive, unpacked size 2,540,823 bytes

Get error that zip file doesn't contain correct files or file is corrupt.

    Any ideas. Tried 4 times.

    Thanks

  • Seamem, the most important thing before you use the Demo kit is to download a US version of the trial. I tried in the Spanish and UK versions and I got loads of errors uploading the data.

which version of the trial are you using?

  • Hi ALL,

I'm trying to evaluated CRM 2011 Online, but usually Ms explorer just tries to poll the sign on. 1/10 attemps give acces to sign in, but even after that I do not get access to test site? It would interesting to test the new CRM

  • Hello,

I'm trying to import the solution in an empty CRM2011 on premise (UK) installation (with RU3 installed on it).

The Import Customization -- Webpage Dialog screen is still with a blanc bar for 30 minutes now. It looks like nothing is happening.

Both with the managed and unmanaged solution by the way.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.
