Simplified Notes Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013

With the latest release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, we’ve revamped Notes to offer commands right inline for creating, editing, and deleting notes or adding attachments. Everything you want to do with Notes can now be done a lot easier!

Here are the features of the improved Notes:

1-      Complete support of Inline notes management (Title and Attachment):

The notes area now supports creating notes inline, equivalent to creating notes via the Add Notes action. You can even add an attachment within the note.

2-      Deleting notes inline:

Just hover over an existing note until the Delete icon appears; then click it.

If you click it by mistake and want to undo this action, just click the Undo command, allowing the user to undelete the note immediately.

If you don’t click Undo, the Undo option slowly fades away in a few seconds, permanently deleting the note.

3-      Deleting attachments inline:

Hover over an existing attachment until the Delete Attachment icon appears; then click it.

If you want to undo this action, just click the Undo command, allowing the user to bring back the removed attachment immediately.

If you don’t click Undo, the Undo option slowly fades away in a few seconds, permanently removing the attachment.

That’s it!
