System Center 2012 SP1 includes a lot of functionality beyond the traditional service pack updates. SP1 is what really lights up a lot of the private cloud functionality in Windows Server 2012. Reviewing all the features and capabilities in System Center 2012 would be a huge project, so you can find reviews of individual features on sites such as System Center Central at www.systemcentercentral.com. One such review is David Allen's article on the FTP Integration Pack that's in System Center 2012 SP1 Orchestrator, which you can find here: http://www.systemcentercentral.com/tabid/143/indexid/96226/default.aspx.David not only notes that the Integration Pack is "well worth downloading and playing with in your test environment," but he also steps through some key activities for this Integration Pack.
So now it's your turn. Have you tested any of the System Center 2012 SP1 features? What did you think? Are there features you're interested in? Let me know if you want to post a blog here or have me post it for you.
I have a question regarding using this IP to connect to an SFTP server. How do I do it via key exchange? How do I specify location of the private key file? It seems to use the Xceed .NET FTP package which supports this capability, but unfortunately I cannot see any way to do it via the IP. We use key exchange with some of our external data processors and not login/passwords.
