What great news – a superstar high school education from Silver Spring, MD has been selected to participate in the 2010 Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Educator Forum in South Africa at the end of October.  Pat has done some amazing work over the last three years engaging high school students in programming with XNA.

Recently, a team from his high school made it to the finals of the US Imagine Cup for their gaming project.  And now Pat will be presenting his project, “Game Programming with the Microsoft Zune to Promote High School Women in Technology”.

This program has led to the formation of an all girl game development club at Springbrook High School, where girls have been learning to program the Zune Mp3 players with XNA.   It will be great to see Pat’s talent and successful programs highlighted at a worldwide level – have fun in Capetown Pat!
