With the new release of Mono 1.0, I find myself very happy. But i feel that there is much work that can still be done. Hopefully pretty soon we'll be able to enjoy:

• version 2.0 "Stereo"
• version 4.0 "Quadraphonic" and
• version 5.0 "Surround" (soon to followed up with a point release that adds more "oomph" for the user).

They've made tremendous progress so far, and there's still so much more for them (and us) to come! Of course, once they hit v7, you know they're just going to be looking for excuses for people to upgrade.
