Is this specific to C# only? I am seeing the same behaviour with a large C++ project.

2.Also, wouldn't it be the case that as the code size increases, things might slow down a little?
I am attempting to include the boost libraries in my project. This does have a lot of C++ templates and any "analyzation" will probably be slower, but about 35M of this does not seem to be done. The one instance that I am waiting on it, overnight seems not to have dropped the CPU usage!

3. Is there a way for this to be turned off?

re: Very high cpu utilization on idle

Analyzation should be a word! The solution was also not just opened; I opened it a few hours prior.

I also agree with Ian's comment that an indicator of some sort should be provided to let us know that the IDE is actually doing something, not just spinning.

re: Very high cpu utilization on idle

"analyzation?" you mean "analysis" right? :-)

re: Very high cpu utilization on idle

Wherever you mention "analyzation", you should correct it to "analysis".
