Along the same vain as “I’m a PC” and the Bill Gates/Jerry Seinfeld ads, Visual Studio Team System now their own set of commercials (online) in the form of Pep Talks.
After watching the initial talk, there are a few “game” films that discuss what you need in your “Team System” to work as a team. Things like “pull together. develop faster.”, “team better, code faster, stay on track.”, and so on. Revolutionary in thinking? Not really. But it does make sense though. Teams need to work together. They need to be in synch with one another. And so on. There is no “I” in Team, nor Team System. But then again, you can’t spell failure with U R A either.
There’s also a feature that allows you send a pep talk to a friend. You input their name, the project they’re working on, and the coach will give them a Team System pep talk using their name and project as part of the talk.
Check out the videos. They’re a bit corny, but they mean well.
Defy all challenges.
