To get your hands on the Consumer Preview, everything you need to get started can be found at Preview.Windows.Com. You can download both a 32- or 64-bit version of the preview.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about a new operating system, and I have to say, what I’ve experience so far with Windows 8 Consumer Preview, I’m pretty excited with the I’ve seen so far.

So check out the video, download the bits, and try it out yourself.

p.s. Please remember this is a preview release. Even with all the advances we’ve made, it’s always a good habit to back up your data on a regular basis. And if you have an extra computer, you might want to test it on that one first before putting it on your main system.
